Lay people are encouraged to attend with their clergy. We will all be invited to renew our baptismal vows and for those who are ordained, our ordination vows, also. Bishop Skelton will bless both Chrism and Oil for the Sick. Each parish will be given a bottle of both Oil for the Sick and Chrism. Be sure to collect these before leaving. The Cathedral maintains a supply of the oils should you run out during the year. The liturgical colour is red.
A light lunch will follow.
2:15pm to 3:30pm the Reverend Canon Dr Ed Bacon, sometime Rector of All Saints', Pasadena will give an address. All are invited to hear Ed speak. His topic will be:"The Ministry (or Vocation) of Oneness in Tribalistic (or Polarized) Times"
Clergy are asked to indicate the number of lay people from their parish who will be attending the luncheon when they register. Lay people do not need to register and should not use this registration link, but please make sure that your priest/deacon has included you in your parish count when they registered.
