Celebrating All Souls

In some cultures All Souls is called "The Day of the Dead”, celebrated at the beginning of November, just after Hallowe’en.

The community at Christ the Redeemer in Cloverdale invites people of all faiths who would like to remember their loved ones to come to the church and cemetery on Saturday, November 2, the Feast of All Souls, between 4 and 8pm. There will be an opportunity to make something to leave at a shrine in the cemetery to remember your loved ones. The chapel is open for prayer and meditation. Refreshments will be served.

Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church, in the heart of Surrey, is caretaker of Surrey’s first church and graveyard, dating from 1882.
