Explore the intersection of art and faith with our four-part series, Contemplative Vision: Spirituality & Photography at St. Faith’s, a program that is open and accessible to all ages and abilities.
Photography often seems like a complicated and daunting art form that makes it feel inaccessible to the average person. But it doesn’t have to be. As mobile phones have gained ever more powerful cameras, each of us now walks around our daily lives with photographic equipment in our pocket that can take beautiful images. What’s more, each of us has a unique view of the world, each of us has a story to tell about our world, each of us is an artist.
In this four-part series, we will explore a variety of spiritual practices and meditations that intersect and connect with photography. At the same time, we will cover some basic photographic concepts and techniques with opportunities to share and learn from one another. Finally, every session will include time and space to complete a photography exercise that connects with the topic of the day.
This event is free and all are welcome.
