At a service of celebration on Wednesday, June 15th Bishop Melissa Skelton will present certificates to 13 graduates of the Education for Ministry (EfM) program in the Diocese.
Bishop Skelton will preside at the Eucharist and EfM Coordinator for the Diocese, the Reverend Andrew Wilhelm-Boyles will preach.
EfM is a four-year program of study for lay persons incorporating studies in Hebrew Bible, New Testament, Church History, ministry discernment and how to integrate their knowledge into their day-to-day ministries as leaders within the church, and as baptized persons in the world.
All are welcome to join with Bishop Skelton and the graduates, their colleagues and mentors in celebrating this significant achievement.
The thirteen graduates represent six parishes: St. Catherine, Capilano; St. Clement, Lynn Valley; St. Andrew, Langley; St. Hilda, Sechelt; St. John, Port Moody and St. Thomas, Chilliwack.
