St. Timothy’s Church holds its annual St. Michael’s Evensong on Wednesday September 27, at 7:30pm. This quiet evening of hymns and reflection, held on the feast of St. Michael and All Angels, gives those who are grieving loved ones an opportunity to light votive candles and to remember them in prayer.
The Rev. Ruth Monette, Interim Priest at St. Timothy’s, said, “There is no set time for grief. This time of prayer and reflection is for all of us who miss departed loved ones. It is a chance to remember, name aloud our loss, and be assured of God’s ongoing love.”
