The first Conversation4Community
January 25, 2017– 7-9pm
Presented by the Justice Education and Advocacy Ministry at Christ Church Cathedral, in the first Conversations4Community offering for 2017, we will gather with our spark for the evening, Fr. Matthew Johnson (and others). Fr. Matthew is the Street Priest at St. James in Vancouver. Join us as we learn about the facts and imlications of the fentanyl overdose crisis and how we indiidually and collectively might best respond with compassion and love. We’ll explore questions like, what is fentanyl, and why is it so scary? How best can we respond? What is CCC doing? What are the municipal, provincial and federal governments doing? As difficult as this conversation will be, we hope to leave with collective and individual next steps.
