The Cathedral Choir under the direction of Rupert Lang leads the worship in what is truly one of the best Christmas experiences of the season. After many absent years, A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols returned to the Cathedral's worship programme in 2006 and it has become a favourite seasonal service at Christ Church Cathedral. Make plans to attend and bring your friends, families and your singing voices!
December 23, 2018 is also the 130th Anniversary of the founding (the first worship service) of Christ Church, a mission church of St. James' in 1888. Of course it wouldn't be until February 1894 that the current building (most of it anyway) would be completed.
