For the Murchie's Tea and Crumpets Morning Tea concert at the Silk Purse, we performed many of the "Big Band' golden oldies from such renowned bands as Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Glenn Miller along with many other much loved standards.
The repertoire for the Sax in the City at the Jericho Arts Centre included tunes by Paquito D Rivera, Charlie Mingus, Astor Piazzolla, Lennie Niehaus, Benny Carter and other standards such as Sweet Georgia Brown, Green Dolphin Street.
This concert being held on the penultimate Sunday of the month as opposed to the final Sunday is slightly outside the "Music and All That Jazz" regular Jazz Vespers programming, it is in support of St. Stephen's, Music Devlopment Fund.
