Please download, read and share this pastoral letter on the Season of Creation from Christian leaders in Saskatchewan. Titled "Let Justice and Peace Flow: Celebrating the Season of Creation", the letter has been endorsed by leaders from the Anglican, Lutheran, Mennonite, Presbyterian, Roman Catholic, and United churches across Saskatchewan. They call us to turn our attention to God's work of Creation. We are invited to give particular attention to prayer, service, and protection of God's Creation.
The webinar consists of panelists: Rev. Dr. Jennifer Janzen-Ball, Executive Minister for Theological Leadership, United Church of Canada; Very Rev. Ken Gray, retired Dean of St. Paul's Anglican Cathedral in Kamloops; and Dr. Carl Bear, Music Director, St. Mark's Anglican Church, Ottawa.
The Season of Creation begins on September 1, the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, and culminates on October 4, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, patron of ecology and animals.
