METRO VANCOUVER ALLIANCE (MVA)
PROVINCIAL ELECTION ACCOUNTABILITY ASSEMBLY
This event is by invitation only. Everyone will need a ticket to attend.
MVA's Provincial Election Assembly is for the member organizations of which the Eco-Justice Unit of the Diocese of New Westminster is a member.
Bishop Melissa Skelton will be on stage as a participant for part of the meeting and there will be a contingent present from the Eco-Justice Unit, as well as parishioners from diocesan parishes who are MVA members: St. Thomas', St. Laurence, St. Clement's, St James' and St. Catherine's, NV>
If there is anyone in the diocese who as any questions about this event or would like to join the Eco-Justice Unit seating area, please contact Eco-Justice Unit chair, the Reverend Margaret Marquardt. Rev. Marquardt is also in leadership at MVA.
At the event those member groups assembled will use the combined power of up to 100 community, labour, faith, and educational organization to ask the leaders of BC's provincial parties to commit to commonly agreed proposals.
Plan to attend early. There will be food trucks on the street next to the Italian Cultural Centre from 4:30-5:45pm
