In these days of declining membership in mainline congregations, a new church plant is a rarity. And yet, the 2011 relaunch of St. Albans Ottawa transformed an empty 145 year-old building into a vibrant centre for worship, a beautiful venue for the arts, and a place of shelter and safety for many of the city’s most vulnerable inhabitants.
Join us on February 16th for an evening with St. Albans rector, the Rev. Mark Whittall, as he tells the story of the community’s formation, emerging sense of mission, through his unique lens on the church’s unfolding future.
