In August 2010 the Diocese of New Westminster resumed diocesan services at St Matthew’s, Abbotsford. Each Sunday a team from the congregation set up the Hall and participate in the ministries we find in all parishes in the Anglican Church.
Since that time, a community has emerged and formed of people coming together week after week, for worship and afterwards continuing their fellowship over breakfast at a nearby restaurant.
It is a great joy to be with this enthusiastic and faithful parish congregation who certainly appreciate being together for Anglican worship and fellowship.
We are especially grateful to Carole Keithley, Monte Worthington (Bishop’s Wardens), as well as the Venerable Bev Stewart (priest-in-charge) and other diocesan clergy (including the Rev Dave Price) for leading this vibrant and emerging congregation.
Please continue to hold in your prayers this Anglican community as part of our wider diocesan family as they seek Christ in their lives and in one another.
