Every now and then diocesan comms puts up a post on diocesan social media which gets quite a bit of traction.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY YOUR GRACE!
On the Feast of St. Michael and All Angels, September 29, a number of clergy celebrate the anniversaries of their ordinations, however there's probably not too many who are celebrating a 70th anniversary and the one we know about would be Archbishop Douglas Hambidge, the seventh Bishop of Caledonia, the seventh Bishop of New Westminster and ninth Metropolitan of the Ecclesiastical Province of BC and Yukon.
Happy Anniversary and thank-you for your ongoing ministry and leadership.

Over the next few days people from far and wide liked, loved and cared for the post as well as offered congratulations. The success of this post is a testament to the decades of servant-leadership graciously given by the Most Reverend Douglas Hambidge and also (maybe a little bit?) Wayne Chose's great 2014 photo of His Grace vesting.
