CANADA'S VOLUNTEER AWARDS
Rendez hommage à une personne qui fait un travail important dans votre collectivité / Bring recognition to someone who is doing important work in your community
Recently, Bishop Skelton asked the Administrative Assistant to the Bishop and Executive Archdeacon, Bill Siksay to find out if church volunteers are eligible for this national award program and he confirms that they are, so don’t miss your chance to bring recognition to someone who is doing important work in your community!
The call for nominations for Canada’s Volunteer Awards is now open, and you are encouraged to nominate a not-for-profit organization, an individual/group of volunteers or a business.
Help celebrate Canada’s culture of volunteering! You have until February 3, 2017, to give Canadian volunteers the recognition they deserve.
Award winners will be recognized at a ceremony and will be able to choose a not-for-profit organization to receive a grant of $5,000 (regional award) or $10,000 (national award).
