The Christian Camping Ministry Task Force was set up by the Diocesan Council in the Anglican Diocese of New Westminster to explore new directions for camping ministry in and around the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. The Task Force’s role is to present recommendations to Diocesan Council that outline a strategy for Christian camping programming for children, youth and families.
This Task Force wants to bring young people, their leaders, clergy and supporters of camping ministry into the conversation. They have built a website which has background information and questions to respond to.
They welcome you to visit the site over the next few days, review the material and to respond to the questions. Thanks to those who have already responded; this stage of the process will be concluding on Wednesday 16th October. With your help, we will be able to discern how God is calling us to carry out this exciting ministry!
