The Reverend Dr. Marilyn Hames, Honorary Assistant at St. Philip, Dunbar has painted a watercolour inspired by (“if not entirely based on”) a Christmas Carol that can be found in Common Praise, Twas in the moon of wintertime…, #146. In explaining the image in her mind she said, “I was thinking of the meaning of Emmanuel – God with us, so wanting to capture a more Canadian nativity image."

With the painting completed Dr. Hames decided she would create a Christian Christmas card and wants to share the image with all who would like to use it.
