There will be a Christmas Sing-along Benefit evening with proceeds being directed to the Lookout Homeless Shelter Wednesday December 18th, 7pm, with High Spirits Choir at the Community hall of Holy Cross Japanese Anglican Church, 4580 Walden, just east of Main/30th.
The concert will include sneak previews of songs from the upcoming January High Spirits Choir concert.
Admission: By donation for Lookout Homeless Shelter: Many ways to give.
- Money (identified donations are eligible for a tax receipt)
- Warm clothing - coats, hats, mittens, scarves, rainwear, shoes, boots, etc. Underwear and socks are also needed, for both men and women
- Toiletries - shampoo, toothbrush/paste, shavers, deodorant, hand lotion, sunscreen, soap, etc. including partial bottles..
- Food: non-perishable items, or boxes of fruit at this time of year.
- Cutlery , dishes, pots-n-pans, microwave for people going into minimal housing.
