Although information about a number of these appointments has been available earlier in the summer, here is the most current list of appointments around the diocese.

The Reverend Tasha Carrothers was appointed Curate, part-time, at Holy Trinity Cathedral, New Westminster under the supervision of Archdeacon Richard Leggett. The appointment was effective July 1. She will continue in her role as Missioner for Parish Development and will work from the Synod Office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Mr. Jerry Adams has been appointed as Missioner for Indigenous Justice Ministries effective July 2. Jerry works from the Synod Office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

St Hilda, Sechelt began its interim ministry period with the appointment of the Reverend Ayoob Adwar as Interim Priest-in-Charge effective August 1.

The Archbishop appointed the Reverend Vivian Seegers as Assistant to the Rector at St Mary Magdalene and as Priest to the Urban Aboriginal Ministry effective August 1.

The Archbishop has appointed the Revd Tim Morgan as Vicar of Christ Church, Hope, effective August 1st. He will succeed Archdeacon Al Carson who has been serving as Priest-in-Charge. A Celebration of New Ministry will be held on Monday, September 9 at 6:30 pm. The liturgical colour will be green. The Archdeacon of Westminster, the Venerable Richard Leggett will preach.

St Michael's Centre, Burnaby is a health care facility for complex care and also the only hospice in Burnaby. St Michael's Centre may be the remaining witness to the heady days of ecumenism in the 70's having been founded in 1981 by Anglican, Roman Catholic and United churches. There are three Anglican 'seats' on the Board of Directors and we are currently represented by Tony Pellett, ODNW; Dr Starr Allaby, ODNW and the just--appointed, Deacon, the Reverend Trudi Shaw.

The Reverend Andre Stephany will serve his curacy as a transitional deacon at Christ Church Cathedral under the supervision of the Reverend Canon Richard LeSueur. His appointment is effective September 1.

The Reverend Alecia Greenfield will serve her curacy as a transitional deacon at St Francis-in-the-Wood under the supervision of the Reverend Dr. Angus Stuart. Her appointment (part time) will begin on September 1.

The Reverend Jonathan Pinkney has been appointed curate (part time) at St Helen, Surrey effective September 1. Jonathan is a transitional deacon and will serve under the supervision of the Reverend Stephen Laskey.

The Reverend Robin Ruder-Celiz has been appointed Rector of All Saints', Ladner beginning November 1. Robin will succeed the Venerable Elizabeth Northcott. He has served as rector at St Martin, North Vancouver.
