Bishop Skelton has announced two new archdeacons effective March 1st: The new Archdeacon of Burrard will be the Venerable Philippa Segrave-Pride, Honorary Assistant at Christ Church Cathedral. The new Archdeacon of Lougheed will be the Venerable Karen Urquhart Rector of St Catherine of Alexandria, Port Coquitlam. Philippa succeeds me as I return my focus to my work as Executive Archdeacon. Karen will succeed Archdeacon Grant Rodgers whose ministry as Rector of St John the Apostle, Port Moody and Director of Anglican Formation at Vancouver School of Theology is more than a full-time job.

The Reverend Georgina Harris has been appointed the Interim Priest-in-Charge of St. John the Divine, Maple Ridge at 60% time effective March 1st.

St. Mary the Virgin, Sapperton has requested the Bishop re-appoint
the Reverend Maggie Rose Muldoon as their Interim Priest-in-Charge (1/2 time) effective March 1st and the Bishop has agreed to do so. Maggie Rose's initial appointment ends on February 29th.

Also re-appointed for a second year is the Revd Tim Dutcher-Walls as Priest-in-Charge (Vicar) of St Oswald, Port Kells. This 1/3 time appointment takes effect on April 1st.

The Reverend Faun Harriman has been appointed 1/2 Priest-in-Charge (Vicar) of St David/St Paul, Powell River beginning on September 1st. Faun had earlier signified to the Bishop her intention to resign the Parish of St Alban the Martyr, Burnaby on June 30th. She has been the Rector there since December 2008.
