Two priests of the Diocese were united in holy matrimony in a joyful celebration at St. Chad’s on a sunny October 6th. The Rev. John W. Marsh and the Rev. Paulina C.M. Lee, who once worked together on the team for the former Jubilee Cluster, exchanged vows before the Executive Archdeacon, Ronald Harrison.
“They both looked extremely happy….” commented one of the clergy attendees. St. Chad’s, Vancouver was filled to the doors with supporters from the whole Diocese, particularly St. Mark’s, Kitsilano, St. George, Vancouver and St. Chad’s herself.
Besides relatives and friends from Hong Kong, a former Rector of St. Chad’s and her husband visited from across the Pacific too: the Rev. Jenny Wong Nam. Paulina’s brothers read, with Michael Lee reading the epistle in English and Cantonese, and David Lee reading the Gospel in English and Mandarin. John’s brother, Paul Marsh, led the Prayers of the People. The organist, Sister Roberta Mullin, was impressed at the quality, in harmony, of the singing by the congregation.
