The Synod office received a letter from the Diocese of Taiwan June 21st.
The Diocese of Taiwan under the Episcopal leadership of Bishop David Lai is a diocese in partnership with the Diocese of New Westminster. This partnership has existed for many years and the previous Diocesan Council approved a motion in the fall of 2009 to continue our partnership for the next five years.
The Diocese of Taiwan has been looking to add some buildings from which to run outreach ministries.
This letter contains information about the two new facilities and how their recent acquisition will serve to carry out God's Mission.
The facilities are both apartments that will be used for a variety of purposes.
