Many thanks to Becki Kozol, Gerry Parrott, Alecia Greenfield for sending in photos from Donut Sunday at St. George, Maple Ridge, October 28. One hundred donuts were brought in fresh that morning, displayed in the chancel during the main Sunday Eucharist and then distributed after the Dismissal.
In his instructions, the rector, Reverend David Edgerton asked that those under 18 be accompanied by an adult to the donut distribution area and please just take one each.
The complimentary donuts were part of the messaging about identifying and sharing spiritual gifts.
