Gaudete (Rejoice) Sunday

Here are two photographs from Gaudete (Rejoice) aka Rose Sunday around the diocese.

In the first photo from St. James' we see Sub-Deacon (Liturgical Assistant) Wayne Sample; the Executive Archdeacon of the Diocese of New Westminster, the Venerable Douglas Fenton; and Rector of St. James', the Venerable Kevin Hunt in Rose Sunday vestments. These beautiful vestments date back a few decades to the era of Father Gardiner. Many thanks to Amy Chai for the photo. Amy was also a member of the Sanctuary Party, she was MC for the Eucharist.

In the second photo we see the new Rose hangings in the chancel at St. Dunstan's, Aldergrove in place for the first time.
