Harvest Thanksgiving Selects

The communications office of the Diocese of New Westminster received a number of photographs October 8 and 9 that highlight some Harvest Thanksgiving decorations. We also did a brief trip around social media sites and grabbed a couple more.

Our first photo was submitted by Simon Johnston, ODNW of Holy Trinity, White Rock (HTWR) that shows some younger members of the parish, Aidan, Charlie, Max and Isaac who assisted in the collection of donations for the HTWR food bank on Thanksgiving Sunday.

The next four photos submitted by Jane Dittrich of Christ Church Cathedral show the beautiful decorations in the chancel entrance area, including a broader POV taken from the Font.

Then we have the altar at St. John the Divine, Squamish where the Reverend Dr. Tellison Glover, Director for Mission and Ministry Development at the Diocese of New Westminster, and diocesan communications officer, Randy Murray attended worship. In the photograph, the vicar, the Reverend Nick Parker is offering the Prayer over the Gifts.

The next photo shows the chancel and the screen at St. George, Maple Ridge.

The last two are from the chancel, specifically the altar display at St. Mary the Virgin, Sapperton.
