Information Session on COVID-19 January 20 1pm PST
The Canadian Council of Churches, on behalf of the Government of Canada, would like to invite you to an information session about vaccination and public health measures against COVID-19 with Dr. Theresa Tam, Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer or Dr. Howard Njoo, Deputy Chief Public Health Officer. This session will include a brief presentation and an opportunity to ask questions.
This event has been planned in collaboration with the Public Health Agency of Canada, the Privy Council Office, the Canadian Interfaith Conversation and the Canadian Multifaith Federation in an effort to respond to community leaders’ time-sensitive need for credible information around COVID-19 vaccines and continued public health measures.
The intention of this session is to help equip you with the latest information about Canada’s Immunization Plan so you can respond to questions and concerns from your communities, since we recognize the important role that you have in helping people determine the safety and efficacy of receiving the vaccine.
