The archbishop will give a public talk on "The Nature of Anglicanism" at St. Mary's, Kerrisdale, Monday, December 6, at 7:30 pm, after preaching at Christ Church Cathedral the previous day at the 10:30 am service. He will meet with diocesan clergy at Holy Trinity Cathedral in New Westminster on Tuesday.

In an attempt to gather all points of view, the primate plans to meet with clergy and lay people from parishes which have opposed the Diocesan Synod's decision to ask the bishop for a rite of same sex blessing.

Hutchison has begun a series of conversations with members of the church that are being broadcast on the national church's website, which is www.anglican.ca. He has said he will respond during the broadcasts to questions emailed him at Andrew@national.anglican.ca.

The Most Rev. Andrew Hutchison was elected the 12th Primate of Canada last June. He had been the Archbishop of Montreal and served as Bishop Ordinary to the Canadian Forces.
