On Sunday December 5th the Christ Church Cathedral congregation viewed for the first time on a Sunday morning the new stained glass window located on the east chancel wall. The new addition is dedicated to the memory of long-time Cathedral parishioner Jane Donegani Short who after a long illness succumbed to cancer in 2008 at the age of 56.

Jane's love and committment to her faith and to her church were remarkable and she was a powerful force for good in the cathedral community. Even as her illness progressed and she grew weaker Jane continued her involvement in ministry, actively carrying out her role as the Cathedral's PWRDF representative.
Jane knew that she didn't have a lot of time left and she played an active role in the selection of the theme for the stained glass window, The Woman at the Well from John 4: 1-42.
