Congratulations to the Venerable Stephen Muir and to the Parish of St. Agnes, North Vancouver. On May 1, Archdeacon Muir marked the 10th Anniversary of his ministry as Rector of the parish. Archdeacon Muir was inducted as rector on May 3 by the Right Reverend Michael Ingham and the preacher was the late Bishop Jim Cruickshank. On Sunday, May 2, 2021, to mark the anniversary, the parish presented Archdeacon Muir and his spouse Shannon Muir, ODNW with a card and gift certificates. In his May 7 communique to the diocese Archdeacon Muir wrote:
"One gift card was for Burrowing Owl Estate Winery in Oliver, BC. They have a lovely guest house and restaurant. Shannon booked us in for the two nights still available - June 24 & July 1. These dates will bookend our summer tour of BC wineries.
Shannon and I would like to thank you for your tremendous generosity! We will raise a glass and toast another 10 years at St Agnes (God willing).
