The Parish of St. Agnes located for the past 110 years in North Vancouver's Grand Boulevard neighbourhood hosted a concert for Ukraine humanitarian relief on May 6 which featured church musicians, Tae (keyboards) and Tak (trumpet) Maeda. Also performing was the rector Archdeacon Stephen Muir's jazz band, Original Blend. The Venerable Stephen plays drums.

This was followed by a Mothers Day afternoon performance of Original Blend at the Lynn Valley Legion which also featured Archdeacon Muir's other band, Definitely Not the Beatles.

The two events raised over $3000 for the PWRDF Ukraine relief fund. Another fundraising concert featuring the Lions Gate Brass Quintet will take place at St. Agnes' on Saturday, May 28 at 3pm. A poster is linked here and below.

The Lynn Valley Legion Local 114 will contribute to the fund by devoting all meat draw and fifty/fifty revenues in June.
