Outdoor Eucharist for Canada Day

On July 1, 2018, All Saints’ Burnaby held its first outdoor Eucharist. The worship took place on the north lawn of the church.  Although it was overcast, the dedicated parishioners of All Saints’ gathered with their vicar, the Reverend Justin Cheng and  deacon, the Captain Reverend Gord Barrett to hear the Word and celebrate the Eucharist between two great cedar trees. 

It was an act of visible witness in the community and an opportunity to worship God in the urban beauty of the parish’s South Burnaby location.  It is hoped that this will become an annual event for the parish, many thanks to James Duff for being the photographer for the event.
