Pista ng Bayan 2018

Kabayans, Filipino Anglicans/Episcopalians do exist in BC! This photo was taken on July 7 as the team were setting up the booth for the July 8 Independence Day celebrations and picnic located in East Vancouver’s Slocan Park.

In the photo above we see(L-R): Father Arvin Amayag of St. Mary, Sapperton, New Westminster; Father Expedito Farinas and Felly Farinas of St. Mary the Virgin, South Hill, Vancouver; Shailene Caparas, comptroller for the diocese of New Westminster; Father Wilmer Toyoken of St. Michael, Vancouver and an unidentified younger booth volunteer. Also present was the Venerable Fr. Louie Engnan of St. Michael, Surrey.
