The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund seeks your help in nominating several members for its Board of Directors.
We need directors with a passion for the work of PWRDF.
Ideally, the nominees will be skilled or experienced in at least three of the following categories:
- Advocacy Human Resources
- Management Board and Governance
- Indigenous Affairs
- Business Management
- International
- Communications
- Labour Relations
- Development, Relief or Refugee
- Legal
- Environment
- Marketing Ethics
- Maternal, Newborn and Child Health
- Finance
- Risk Management
- Fundraising
- Strategic Planning
- Gender Sensitivity
- Theological Reflection
- Government and Government Relations
Directors are expected to adhere to and uphold the mission, vision and values of PWRDF.
Terms are for three years. Besides attending Board meetings in May and November, Board members engage in committee work between Board meetings. Nominees should be comfortable sharing responsibility for developing policy.
If you identify suitable candidates, please encourage them to stand for election. Fill out the attached form with the nominee. Signatures are required from both the nominator and the nominee. Elections will be held at the Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.
