Yet another Chronicle of Narnia will be presented this summer by the parish of St. Catherine's, Port Coquitlam.
"The Silver Chair" will be the fifth story presented from the series of the seven books written by C.S. Lewis and adapted by the Rev. Paul Strudwick, rector of St. Catherine's.
In this episode, Lewis' characters Eustace and Jill, classmates at Experiment House, embark on a mission to find and rescue King Caspian's son, Prince Rilian.
Sent on their way by Lion King Aslan, they overcome dangers in a strange land, made more dangerous when they forget Aslan's words and follow their own paths.
The cast comes from the parish and the local community. The production will take place at the Terry Fox Theatre in Port Coquitlam on July 17, 18, and 19. Tickets will be available from the church office (604 942-9812) on July 3, as well as the theatre box office before each performance.
