The parish mission statement reads:
St. John's is CALLED to be a Spirited Community at the heart of Port Moody, TRANSFORMED through the experience of the presence of Christ, and SENT out to share God's Love.
And when it comes to celebrating the glorious diversity of God’s creation and acknowledging The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the Parish of St. John the Apostle, Port Moody “honours the experiences of Indigenous Peoples, celebrate resilience and affirms the commitment that every child matters.”
