The Rev. Peter Riddell, former chaplain at St. Jude’s Home and Vancouver General Hospital, died in Nanaimo of cancer on May 28. He was 61.
Born in Montreal, he studied in Ottawa and at Trinity College in Toronto. He came to the Diocese of New Westminster in 1995 and worked as a chaplain until retiring in 2000.
He leaves three brothers and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
The funeral was held on Friday, June 3, at St. Paul’s, Nanaimo, and burial followed in Lachute, Quebec.
