Urban Aboriginal Ministry UAM) is an outreach and cultural care program for Indigenous people in the city facilitated by the Reverend Vivian Seegers, the first Indigenous woman priest in our diocese.
All creatures and all parts of creation we’re honoured including the bunny rabbit as seen modelled by Natalie King of UAM in the first photo posted.
The Reverend Vivian Seegers shared the Easter story and who Jesus, the risen Christ is who walks with us.
Folks who attended were from various parts of our wider community including one of the newcomer families from the Middle East that St. Mary Magdalene has sponsored, and who live at St. George’s Place connected to St. Mary Magdalene Church.
