Walk for Reconciliation Planning
Approximately two dozen members of the BC Ecumenical Reconciliation Advocates representing Roman Catholic, Anglican, United Church of Canada and BC Mennonite churches met in the Trendell Lounge at the Synod office of the Anglican Diocese of New Westminster from 9:30am to 12:30pm on August 1 to discuss the role of churches in the upcoming Walk for Reconciliation scheduled for Sunday, September 24, 2017.
Brander Raven Macdonald, Indigenous Justice Coordinator for the diocese organized the meeting but was unable to attend. In his stead the meeting was chaired by St. Thomas', Vancouver's rector, the Reverend Michael Batten.
