On Sunday, September 24, 2023, Archbishop Linda Nicholls visited the Parish of St. Agnes, North Vancouver to preach, preside at the Eucharist, confirm Brianna Trenaman and award the Anglican Award of Merit, the highest honour bestowed on a lay person in the Anglican Church of Canada to diocesan Chancellor, George Cadman, KC, ODNW, AAM. The tradition of the awarding of the AAM is that the Primate travels to the recipients home parish to honour them during the parish's Sunday morning Eucharist. The awards take place every three years in the same year as the Anglican Church of Canada's triennial General Synod meetings.
