The Missioner for Christian Formation strengthens the engagement and participation of all generations included in the Diocese of New Westminster by creating a culture of life-long learners. The main focus of the Reverend Schaap's ministry is in parishes but other areas are included such as campus ministry. The Reverend Schaap is also the principal staff support for The Learning Centre, the diocese's Christian Formation education program.
