The Diocese of New Westminster has called its very first Minister for Climate Justice! The Rev. Joyce Parry-Moore will serve part time in this role, while also serving as Vicar for St. Bart’s on the Sunshine Coast, a perfect location for mindfulness about the beauty and sacredness of our beautiful coastal home. Working beside the current Climate Committee, Joyce’s goals for her first three months include hearing the stories of clergy and stakeholders in the diocese; convening a conversation at Clergy Conference; and helping tell some of the stories of great parish work at the Synod in May of 2023.
