The W.G. Murrin Fund promotes and encourages continuing education for clergy and lay employees of the Diocese in order to enrich the excercise of the ministry to which they have been called.

Grants are available for assistance towards the following:

i) Degree or credit courses (for continuing education, not primary degrees.)

ii) Seminars and workshops - credit or non credit.

iii) Conferences.

iv) Other educational programs as deemed eligible by the Murrin Fund Committee.

There is also provision for applications for an Extended Study Leave once every five years.
