The Most Reverend Melissa Skelton
The Most Reverend Melissa Skelton is the former Archbishop of the Diocese of New Westminster and Metropolitan of British Columbia and Yukon. She was consecrated and installed as the 9th Bishop of the Diocese, March 1, 2014. Up until February 2014, she was the Rector of St. Paul’s, Seattle, Archbishop Melissa has served as a Congregational Development Consultant in the Diocese of Maine and as a Trainer for The Church Development Institute for over ten years. Prior to moving to Seattle, Bishop Melissa was Rector of Trinity Church, Castine, Maine, the principle in an independent consulting practice. Prior to this she served as Vice President and Leader of System Development at Tom’s of Maine and Vice President of Administration at The General Theological Seminary where she also led The College for Bishops. In addition to her M.Div., Archbishop Melissa holds an MA in English, an MBA, a Certificate in Organization Development from National Training Labs, and a Certificate from The Church Development Institute. She retired from her role as Archbishop on February 28, 2021.
The Reverend Kelly Duncan
Reverend Kelly is a priest at the Parish of St. George, Fort Langley. She has been in that position for three years and still marvels that she passes cows on the way to work each morning! Prior to moving to Langley, Kelly was Associate Priest at St. Mary's, Kerrisdale in Vancouver. She graduated from the Diocesan School from Parish Development in 2016 and has appreciated the tools she learned at the School which have enriched and strengthened both her ministry to the community and the parish's ministry. She is passionate about supportive and applied learning and looks forward to learning and growing alongside this year's participants!
The Venerable Louie Engnan
From 1997 to 2007, Archdeacon Louie was a full-time parish priest in the Philippine Independent Church, where his diocesan ministries included youth and social concerns. He holds a Bachelor in Theology, an M.A. in Education, and a diploma in Nursing. In 2012 he completed both the Intentional Interim Ministry Training and the Transitional Ministry Network course. Fr. Louie was among the first 19 graduates of the Diocesan School for Leadership. He was formally welcomed into the Diocese of New Westminster in July 2010 and was installed as the rector of St. Michael’s, Surrey, on April 2014.
The Reverend Andrew Halladay
Fr. Andrew is the Rector of St. Andrew, Langley, a trainer in the School for Parish Development in the Diocese of New Westminster, and a ringleader of the Diocesan Arts Ministry: Sheep & Goats. He is an amateur actor and musician and has a special fondness for uncovering all the treasures hidden away in church closets and basements. Fr. Andrew also serves as principal Director for the School.
