Pastoral instructions for liturgy from the bishop are available in the diocesan handboook and policy manual (pgs.257-276)
Please find here a downloadable PDF of the guidelines about the use of the Reserved Sacrament from the Diocesan Handbook (pgs.257-263). These guidelines point the way to bringing Holy Communion to those who are not able to attend our Eucharistic gatherings on Sundays or, in some cases, during the week. The policy includes guidelines for the Lay and Diaconal Administration of the Reserved Sacrament in Nursing
Homes, Institutions, Hospitals or at Home.
The Revised Common Lectionary (RCL) is the Diocesan standard for all Sunday services and principal holy days, and the BAS lectionary for all other occasions such as mid-week celebrations. The RCL and/or BAS are to be followed for all public worship. Find the lectionary here: http://lectionary.anglican.ca/
Other lectionaries, such as those in the BCP, are no longer authorized.
Holy Space and Holy Objects: Principles to Draw From
A 2 page resource to understand and assess how well a liturgical space is inviting people into deep worship and formation. This and the following document were prepared for a diocesan clergy day in 2015.
This worksheet uses the principles in the document above and allows parish groups to step-by-step assess their liturgical space and discover what changes they may like to make to enhance worship.
