The Primate's World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) is the official international aid and development agency of the Anglican Church of Canada.
PWRDF has been strongly supported by members of the Diocese of New Westminster. Since PWRDF’s founding, New Westminster Anglicans have given over $7.8 million. We work through our Diocesan PWRDF Unit Group, and Parish Reps.
The Reverend Greg Jenkins, appointed by Bishop John Stephens in 2021 as the PWRDF Diocesan Unit Chair resigned his ministry position as Rector of St. Alban the Martyr, Burnaby at the end of June 2023 and has been appointed in a parish in the Diocese of Huron. The position of PWRDF Diocesan Unit Chair is currently vacant.
