University chaplaincy is about building community: a community of seekers, believers and friends. University chaplaincy is also about engaging believers in conversations of faith and opportunities for services. Throughout the year, the Chaplain hopes to engage in conversation with Anglican college and university students throughout our Diocese. The chaplaincy aims to challenge students’ minds to grow beyond the classroom academics; to listen, support, and advise them; to provide them with a forum for interaction, opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth, as well as individual pastoral counselling; to promote student’s faith development by their engagement in Christian worship, discipleship, and service; to empower them for a lifetime of participation in the Church, including their call to corporate ministry and reconciliation; to create opportunities for inter-faith activities.

If you are a student at any of the universities or colleges within our Diocese, please be in touch
